Staff Profiles

Roadrunner Tax Services LLC is a partnership jointly owned by Jim and Liz McConnell.

They met while working together at a nationally known tax company in Maryland and formed  Roadrunner Tax Services in 2007.  They later were married and moved to Little River, SC where  they continue their tax work.  Between them they have over 30 years  of experience in income tax preparation.

In 2011 Jim took and passed the special enrollment exam and became an enrolled agent (EA).  Liz followed closely behind and passed the exam and became an enrolled agent in 2012.

As enrolled agents they are required to take continuing education each year to maintain their knowledge of tax laws and ethical conduct.

An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before.
